This step-by-step guide explains how to solve the Liberty Falls main Easter Egg in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies. It unlocks theBye-Bye, Dark Aether trophy & achievement. There are no special prerequisites and you can do this at any time. However, being Level 20 is helpful to have the Mangler Cannon available for crafting to make step 7 easier, but it’s not mandatory. This guide is based on Standard Mode. The trophy/achievement can also be earned in Directed Mode but the game may display some objectives in a different order in Directed Mode.

Step 1: Unlock Jetgun Workbench in Motel
In the first area where you start, go up the stairs on the left. Some zombies will crash through a door here, defeat them and inside the room. There you find the Jetgun Workbench. Finding the parts for crafting it is part of the easter egg, we’ll come back here later.
Step 2: Interact with Machine in Church
Reach the church where the Pack-a-Punch machine is (marked as orange main objective). Inside the church on the right side is a big machine, hold 
/ 
on it. Then the screen will turn white for a moment and a blue ghost appears in the church. He’ll be on the balcony above the entrance, wait for him to finish talking.
Step 3: Defeat Groundskeeperto get Toolshed Key
To the right of the church in the graveyard you will find a purple cloud with lightning coming out of it. In the graveyard area where the cloud is kill 30-40 zombies. You don’t have to kill them directly underneath the purple cloud, anywhere in the graveyard will suffice. This will spawn a special zombie called “Groundskeeper”. He looks like a farmer with a red-black shirt and blue overalls. Quickly kill him before he runs away, if you’re too slow he will disappear.
He drops a golden item “Toolshed Key”, pick it up.
Step 4: Open Toolshedto get Handbrake
To the right of the church go down the road a little bit and take the first left turn to see a wooden shed. Open it using the shed key, inside pick up the golden item “Handbrake”.
Step 5: Get Water Valve at Lily’s Flowerpot
Go down the street the the flower shop “Lily’s Flowerpot”. In front of the flower shop is a valve, hold / on it to pick up the water valve.
Step 6: Regulate Water Pressure in Bowling Alley
Go into the bowling alley “Liberty Lanes”. On the right side of the bowling lane is a box on the wall. Melee attack it to smash it open. Keep holding / to use the water valve to regulate the pressure. This takes around 1 minute, there will be a bar on the left side that shows the progress. Lots of zombies will spawn. You can let go off the valve for a moment if needed. It’s easier if you have a co-op partner to protect the player turning the valve. While turning the valve you can also turn around to see when zombies are coming so you can let go for a moment and shoot them.
When done it will drop the golden item “Water Pressure Gauge” on the floor, pick it up.
Step 7: Use Mangler Cannon to enter ‘Radio House Electronics Superstore’ to get Electrical Wires
Head to the northeast corner of the map to find the building called “Radio House Electronics Superstore”. It has a locked metal gate at the entrance. You must destroy this gate by hitting it with the Mangler Cannon. There are two ways of doing this: you can craft it at any crafting table for 1250 salvage, but this requires online level 20. Or you can play until a round where a Mangler spawns (should be in round 10), then run around in front of the gate until he shoots at it. Crafting the Mangler Cannon is much easier but both methods work.
After the door is destroyed enter the store and there will be 3 piles on the floor you can dig through. One of them contains the golden item “Electrical Wires”, pick it up.
Step 8: Craft Jetgun
You now have all 3 parts for the Jetgun (Electrical Wires, Water Pressure Gauge, Handbrake). Return to the motel room in the starting area where you went in Step 1. There at the workbench you must craft the Jetgun. Keep this weapon with you for the next steps. It’s used to suck in canisters that we need.
Step 9: Get FirstLTG Partin Olly’s Comics
Enter Olly’s Comics in the northeast corner of the map. In the middle of the store look up at the broken ceiling, there’s a purpleobject floating up there. Use the Jetgun to suck it in.
Step 10: Get SecondLTG Partin Buzz’s Cuts
Go to the rooftop where you can buy open the zipline. From there jump onto the white truck that’s parked on the street below. From the roof of the white truck look into the window of the building “Buzz’s Cuts”, in the window will be the second purple object. Suck it in with the Jetgun again.
Step 11: Get ThirdLTG Part in Church
Return to the church where the Pack-a-Punch is. Use the Jetgun to suck in the thirdpurple object that’s floating above the balcony where the ghost is.
Step 12: Interact again with Machine in Church
Hold / on the big machine inside the church on the right side (the same one from Step 2). Afterward Pands will talk to you over the radio, his icon will show on the right side when he talks (blue ghost).
Step 13: Craft the LTG on the Rooftop
Use the zipline to the big roof. In the left corner of the roof you find a crafting bench, interact with it to craft the LTG device with the 3 purple parts you sucked in.
Step 14: Take Canister from Machine in Church
Return to the Church, now one of the Canisters will be sticking out of the machine on the right. Hold / to take the canister.Pands will talk to you again over the radio.
Step 15: Defend Portal under Purple Cloud in Graveyard, Keep Eridicad Mangler alive
Return to the purple cloud in the graveyard where you defeated the Groundskeeper in Step 3. Place the canister on the floor below the purple cloud by holding 
/ 
. Then interact with the metallic ring on the floor below the purple cloud. This will create a purple portal and lots of zombies will spawn. You must defend the portal for 60-90 seconds (the length depends on how many players are in the match). If any zombies reach the portal they will explode and damage it, there will be a healthbar on the left of the screen. If you fail, you must wait until the next round to try again!
During this a very strong red Mangler will spawn who is named “Eridicad”. DON’T KILL HIM! After you defended the portal, weaken him until he starts glowing purple and Pands calls you over the radio. You have to keep him alive for the next step. If he dies you must repeat this step to respawn him.
If you succeeded, pick up the Aether canister that you placed on the ground.
Step 16: Use Dark Aether Field Generator trap, place Aether Canister on Ground, have Eridicad killed by the trap
Down the street is a trap called “Aether Field Generator”. Put the Aether Canisters on the ground inside the trap area. Then activate the trap. Eridicad MUST be killed by the trap while the Aether Canisters is on the ground. You will then see his purple Essence getting trapped in the Aether Canister.
Step 17:Return Aether Canister to Church Machine to get Strauss Counter
Pick up the Canister that trapped Eridicad’s essence, return it to the machine in the church. Hold / at the machine to insert the canister. On the left side of the machine a golden item will come out called “Strauss Counter”, pick this up! It will replace your 
tactical grenade.
Step 18:Use Strass Counter to light up the 3 Projectors
There are 3 Projectors hidden around the map. You must approach them and hold and the Strauss Counter will show one of three colors: Red, Green, Yellow. The projectors can be set to those 3 colors.
If the Strauss Countershows Green = set Projector to Red. If Strauss Counter shows Red = set Projector to Green. If Strauss Counter shows Yellow = set Projector to Yellow.
Projector #1:
In front of the church on the small patch of lawn overlooking the bowling alley.
Projector #2:
In the corner next to the shed where you found Handbrake in Step 4.
Projector #3:
Use Zipline to the big roof, on the side of the roof open the path with the red “X” on it to drop down to another roof. The projector is on that lower roof.
After you set ALL 3 projectors to the correct color they will glow purple and shine a beam of light towards the starting area. This unlocks the Aether Canister there.
Step 19: Grab Canister in Starting Area
Pick up the Aether Canister in the starting area.
Step 20:Defend Portal under Purple Cloud in Street, Keep Sadisz Monsteralive
In the street next to the starting area is the second purple cloud. Place the Aether Canister under the cloud, then hold / on the metallic ring under the cloud to create a purple portal. You must defend this again, if you fail you must play till the next round to retry. During this a 3-headed monster will spawn called Sadisz. DON’T KILL SADISZ! After successfully defending the portal, bring him to low health until he glows purple and Pands calls you.IfSadisz dies you must repeat this step to respawn him.
Step 21: Use Dark Aether Field Generator trap, place Aether Canister on Ground, haveSadisz killed by the trap
Just like you did with the red mangler before. Lure Sadisz to a Dark Aether Field Generator trap, put the canister on the ground, activate the trap, have Sadisz killed by the trap. Then his purple essence gets trapped in the canister. Pick up the canister, insert it in the church machine.
WARNING: When inserting the Canister in the church machine, only press / ONCE! Pressing it twice will trigger the final boss fight of the easter egg. Take time to prepare first!
Step 22: Liberty Falls Easter Egg Boss
Before initiating the final boss, you should at minimum have Pack-a-Punch Level 2, upgraded your weapon to purple rarity, bought some perks and at least the blue armor upgrade. If you want to spend some extra time to prepare you can go for Pack-a-Punch 3, golden weapon rarity, and purple armor upgrade. Also buy self-revive and monkey bombs at the crafting table.
When ready, interact with the church machine a second time to initiate the final boss fight. It consists of 3 waves of Elite Enemies spawning, like the ones you encountered before during the purple cloud defenses. You must kill these elite enemies to finish the wave. They will be accompanied by huge hordes of regular zombies, it’s best to thin out the hordes first to not get overrun by them.
You will be trapped into the church for the entire fight. This is a small space and there are lots of zombies. Run in a big circle around the area. If you play co-op,it’s best that all players stay close together and run in a big circle in the same direction.
After you beat all 3 elite enemies the fight will be won and the easter egg is complete, congratulations!
